YOU’VE BOOKED A PETITE SESSION!
Your Petite Session is on the books! Our time together will reflect that of a standard lifestyle family photography session, just – you guessed it – smaller. Congruent with my lifestyle approach toward photography, our focus will be on the relational dynamic of your family, which means plenty of laughter and snuggles. Although we will certainly aim to capture that photograph with everyone looking at the camera and smiling in our 20 minutes together. Given the smaller time frame, our focus will be on gathering a small collection of full family images rather than individual portraits.
WHERE WILL MY PETITE SESSION BE HELD? As a natural light photographer, your Petite Session will be held outdoors during [or otherwise very close to] the golden hour of sunset. Specific locations correlate with the Petite Session being offered. Below are images from past Petite Session locations.

MAY EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBERS JOIN THE FUN?
Most certainly extended relatives (and even pets!) are welcome with a further investment of $25/per additional family member.
WILL YOU HAVE ANY PROPS?
I do not use props given my lifestyle approach towards photography. However I may have you seated for a portion of our time together [location dependent], so I would recommend a large blanket that compliments your color palette.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Be comfortable, be yourself. Head to my Client Cafe for some helpful tidbits!
WHAT IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER? A rain date has been provided for your petite session. If you missed the note on that when booking, please reply to me directly in anticipation of your confirmation email so that you can be assured of your families availability.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY DIGITAL IMAGES?
Within 1-2 weeks of your session date I will deliver to your email a fully downloadable online gallery with 15 photographs.
MAY I ORDER PRINTS OR WALL ART THROUGH YOU?
Absolutely. Your gallery is linked directly to my professional printing lab which you, or any guests given gallery access, are free to order physical prints through.
JUST CURIOUS… HOW DOES A PETITE SESSION DIFFER FROM A FULL SESSION?
Petite sessions are lighter on your pocket but the investment is equally matched. While full lifestyle family sessions are a full hour in length, petite sessions are capped at 20 minutes. My goal for stunning, intimate family shots remains the same, but the extended time of a full session does allow us to capture a wider range of moments and a variety of poses [i.e. mom with kids, siblings, couple shots, etc.] Full sessions also offer a location of your choice, providing multiple backdrops inside that one location alongside the full extent of golden hour at sunset. Whereas your petite session will have you remain in one area for the full 20 minutes. Your petite session includes 15 digital downloads, but a full session upgrades your gallery to 75+ images, all of which are also available in black and white.
SO WHAT’S NEXT?
Your session deposit has been paid which means you are on the books! You will receive a confirmation email from within one to two business days that includes your Petite Session Contract and Invoice. A few days prior to your session you will hear from me once more to ensure we are set on the details and explore any further questions you might have as you anticipate our time together.
