Her last baby.  And she knew it, which brought this sweetness paired with a humbled element of sadness in our time together.  Although mamas have been here before and will be here again.  Bodies that grow weary of pregnancy, families that reach their financial limit, homes that feel stretched in their capacity to shelter.  Here we discover the moments that remind us of our limitations, made up of by the same beauty that has undoubtedly stretched us.  We bear the marks in both the physical and the emotional, yet we would be hard pressed to offer up ourselves any other way, for their is a deep gift to be unveiled in the privilege that is motherhood.  And when that time of creating life comes to a close, you find yourself deeply grieved and yet immensely full.  For the passing of one season simply means that you have been equipped to embrace the beauty of the next.
