Something borrowed, something blue. A vintage bridal shower.

You have heard the saying before.  Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Well here is one celebration that inadvertently embraced the old adage, while wholeheartedly celebrating one of the most beautiful ladies in my life… my sister.  Elizabeth and her fiancé, whom we are thrilled to have joining the family, will become husband and wife this spring (yay!) – and with the humble privilege of being her matron of honor, I was beyond excited to plan her bridal shower.  Soooo excited that I started working on the invitation the week after I heard they were engaged.  I simply couldn’t resist :)  With the incredible help of a few other dear ladies, we found ourselves sitting amongst vintage blue ball glass jars, stacks of old books, dining on homemade quiche and red wine sangria, enjoying the laughter of good company and honoring our dearly loved bride-to-be.
